Civilpro Engineering Solutions is a multidisciplinary civil engineering firm that offers a wide variety of consulting and construction project management solutions. Consulting and design services ranging from bulk earthworks of newly planned developments, general civil engineering, infrastructure development, structural design and precast engineering. We pride ourselves on being client orientated, project specific, problem solving specialist and can even supply any required precast products, from either our strategic alliance partners or in corporation with our clients on-site if financially feasible. The company was founded in 2016 and is establishing a valued reputation in the industry as a dependable partner in finding innovative solutions to exciting engineering challenges and delivering quality turn key construction projects.

Although the company was only established in 2019, CivilPro Construction & Projects offers highly skilled and experienced construction contracting services. The company has 4 professionally supervised teams, each with the capacity to manage full turnkey projects. While the company was only in 2012, it is lead by a management team with decades of combined experience in various industries. These individuals are all capable entrepreneurs with the business know-how to survive and flourish in South Africa's arid economic climate/ Management's experience is further complimented by skilled laborers and administrative staff on every level.

Civilpro Precast was founded to satisfy the growing need for specialized supply services in the construction industry to the pertinent clients. The directors, with combined experience of well over 25 years have been involved in the manufacturing industry with experience gained from companies like Trident Steel, Aveng Infraset and Aveng Grinaker-LTA.

Our customers are at the core of our business and we strive to provide expert advice, services and personalized products to clients in the construction industry. We currently only have a branch in Cape Town.

Coenraad Groenewald
Group CEO

I am a registered professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa and being a dynamic engineer I am driven by the challenges and multiplicities of the civil engineering industry. My career as Civil Engineer started in 1999 with The Aveng Group and I completed 18 years of service with Aveng Infraset, the precast concrete manufacturing company within the group. I matriculated from Dr E.G. Jansen High School in 1997 and after being awarded a bursary from the then called Grinaker, I completed my B-Tech Civil Engineering (Construction Management) in 2003 at the Tshwane University of Technology. At the same time, I finished my BSc ICEM (International Civil Engineering Management) degree at the Hanze University in the Netherlands. In 2016 I left the corporate profession and ventured into the exciting world of entrepreneurship and challenges of being a business owner. Now, together with my excellent team we excel in solving problems and making our clients visions come to reality.

Justin Theron
Projects Director (Construction)

I am a self-motivated individual with a passion for building and construction. Finishes is my game. I matriculated from Dr E.G. Jansen in 2008.I was as a design advisor at Tile Africa working closely with contractors and project managers, it was the knowledge and experience that I learned there that motivated me to pursue a profession in the construction industry. Since then my expertise has only grown from advising on small residential to overseeing major industrial projects.  Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything I do, both professionally and personally.

Shaun Theron
Managing Director (Construction)

I am a well driven independent individual that Matriculated from the High School Dr EG Jansen in Boksburg Gauteng. After school I started working for the Late Grinaker on various fields and various countries for 6 Years. Started my own Construction company in the early 2000 where I have built up Experience in residential and Industrial Construction. I’m a proven Project manager with diverse experience in Construction, Civils and Earthworks and can handle the most Extreme challenges a Project can bring. Through my diverse experience and Investment of Time I have mastered the development of Project teams and Systems. My success is rooted in the ability to build relationships and grow.people who in turn grow our Company and the Civilpro Brand.

Werner Booyens
Project Engineer (Consulting)

I am a passionate driven individual with broad knowledge and experience within the construction industry. I matriculated from DR EG Jansen in 2000.My construction career started with a company called Great Force Investments who focused on residential developments. It was here where I fell in love with the industry. In 2010 I was employed by Aveng Infraset as special products consultant where I was involved with the development and design of non-standard products. It was with the previous mentioned company where I obtained my National Diploma in Civil Engineering and my Bachelor Technology degree specializing in structural engineering. In 2017 I was promoted to Product manager Infrastructure division where I was involved with product designs, product development and technical assistance to sales and factory departments. I am currently registered with ECSA as a candidate Engineering Technologist

George Booysen
Operations Director (Precast)

Coming from a technical back ground in construction a new love was awakened when 10 years back I got introduced to the concrete industry. I did work for Aveng Infraset in 2008 at their Wadeville plant where after I joined the group’s technical team in 2009. Traveling from Cape Town to Zambia dismantling factories and reassembling them in new locations. Being part to many of their success stories it was good being part of a well-oiled machine. The production and maintenance environment came calling when approached to join the team when entering the planning phase of a brand new brick factory, the MASSA II plant build in Rossway Gauteng. Infraset’s most advanced plant at the time. Doing my trade, also qualifying in Samtrac International (HSE) and completing a few courses from the Concrete Institute of South Africa.

Alexis Nefdt
Human Resource Director (Precast)

I started out my career at Aveng Trident Steel in 2006 as an Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental officer, my role and responsibilities Later grew, to include that of Quality and Wellness. I succeeded in achieving OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001 certification. Together with my team, we achieved various awards throughout the years which included the MD Award for the best performing branch with regards to safety. During my tenure at Aveng Trident Steel, I assisted Aveng Steeledale and Aveng Infraset with their safety related challenges, until I decided to leave Aveng Trident Steel in March 2017 and joined Aveng Infraset permanently in April 2017.

Christiaan Theron
Managing Director (Precast)

I am a Civil Engineering Technologist with a passion for concrete. I have always been fascinated with this versatile material and its many applications. I matriculated from Swartland Secondary in Malmesbury in 1995. My career started with the Namibian Department of Transport based in Windhoek when awarded a bursary to study Civil Engineering in 1997. In 2003 I joined Grinaker-LTA Namibia’s Roads and Earthworks division completing numerous projects.
